Anna Hollowell, Intern
My heart is dedicated to helping individuals – especially children and families – navigate life’s challenges and discover their inner strength. Trained in play therapy, I am particularly excited about using the therapeutic powers of play as a way to connect with children and help them express themselves in a fun, non-judgmental space.
Providing play therapy is one of my greatest joys because it offers a creative and playful approach to emotional healing. I believe that children have a natural ability to work through their feelings through play, whether it’s through art, games, or storytelling. I’m thrilled to be able to support children in finding their voice and empowering them to build confidence, manage emotions, and develop healthy coping strategies.
I’m trained in various counseling techniques, crisis intervention, child development, and building strong therapeutic relationships. I’m committed to creating a warm, welcoming environment where clients feel safe and understood. Whether I’m working with children, adolescents, or families, my goal is to offer compassionate, empathetic support, and help them feel seen and heard every step of the way.
I am excited to continue learning and growing in my internship while working alongside experienced professionals. Every day is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, and I can’t wait to bring joy, encouragement, and hope to the individuals I work with.
